One of my favorite authors to work with is Wendy Hales, who 
writes the Enlightened Species series. Her first book is out, and I recently edited the second for her. (This girl could go on and on with stories in this series — each book follows a different character in this world she’s created. For those of you who love a long-running series, check this one out.) She recently released a novella called Shadowed Magic, and IT’S FREE today! I didn’t edit it, but I’m looking forward to reading it. A great introduction to the series. Wendy’s books are so much fun to read. Sexy, fun, great characters.
