So it turns out I have a bit of asthma. I had no idea. I guess coughing is a symptom. I started on a steroid, and my daughter suggested I try her rescue inhaler. Suddenly I could breathe down deep into my lungs, and I realized I hadn’t been breathing deeply in weeks. This is a bad spring for allergies, dear readers, so if you’re coughing and don’t know why, hit the doc. I feel stupid for waiting so long — but I’m breathing great, so who cares?
